Privacy & Data Handling Policy

Compliant with modern privacy principles & zero background tracking.

1. Data Minimization & Location Security

We do not track continuous background GPS coordinates. Coordinates provided for nearby discovery are stored only in an encrypted, owner-restricted table (`private_locations`) protected by Row-Level Security. We calculate approximate distances server-side and never reveal raw latitude or longitude in API responses.

2. Right to Consent Withdrawal

Either partner can revoke couple profile approval at any time with a single click in Settings. Revocation immediately de-lists the shared profile and restricts discovery.

3. Data Export & Permanent Deletion

Users have the legal right to export their complete profile and message data or schedule permanent account erasure directly from `/settings/account`.
